Project Description

Meet Sally Spade, who is keen to share her knowledge and love of Travel. Explore some of the exciting continents she and fellow adventurers discovered, paving the way for world travel today.

This is a whistle stop tour and the perfect accompaniment to your KS1 geography topic.

With the use of improvisation, role play, song and movement, the children will:

  1. Recreate one of Christopher Columbus’s initial journeys by learning and performing parts of a poem
  2. Explore a popular food from America
  3. Learn a dance from Asia
  4. Discover how the Vikings travelled around Europe
  5. Where would you like to go next and how?

If there is a particular country you would like your class to visit, we may be able to visit there too!

Drama Hut have worked with our school on many occasions. Each time, the workshops have been well planned out- with teachers ideas in mind, well executed by very enthusiastic practitioners and have been thoroughly enjoyed by all children! Each workshop has engaged the children enormously, using original ideas that involve the children through practical games and activities. I would recommend this drama company to all schools.
