Meet the enthusiastic Sally Spade, a keen follower of all things British! Through drama, teamwork, poetry, and improvisation, explore the meaning and importance of ‘British Venues’ and the part they play in our lives.

During the session and with the use of improvisation, role play, song and movement, the children will:

  1. Explore the value in building a happy, supportive society
  2. Learn five key values: democracy, the rule of law, individual freedom, mutual respect, and tolerance
  3. Create a timeline of the British Civil Rights Movement
  4. Perform a poem celebrating diversity in Britain
Drama Hut have worked with our school on many occasions. Each time, the workshops have been well planned out- with teachers ideas in mind, well executed by very enthusiastic practitioners and have been thoroughly enjoyed by all children! Each workshop has engaged the children enormously, using original ideas that involve the children through practical games and activities. I would recommend this drama company to all schools.
