An enthusiastic amateur writer, Sally Spade, is keen to share her love of stories; How do they work? What’s involved? Can anyone create one? With the help of the well-known fairy tale Cinderella, Sally takes the children on a journey of discovery into the world of storytelling.
During the session and with the use of improvisation, role play, sound and movement, the children will:
- Discuss what makes a good story
- Learn how a story can be structured
- Look at characterisation
- Create a soundscape
- Create and perform their own version of Cinderella
Drama Hut have worked with our school on many occasions. Each time, the workshops have been well planned out- with teachers ideas in mind, well executed by very enthusiastic practitioners and have been thoroughly enjoyed by all children! Each workshop has engaged the children enormously, using original ideas that involve the children through practical games and activities. I would recommend this drama company to all schools.
