An enthusiastic amateur writer, Sally Spade, is keen to share her love of stories; How do they work? What’s involved? Can anyone create one?
With the help of well-known and much loved writer Roald Dahl, Sally takes the children on a journey of discovery into the world of storytelling.
During this workshop, the children will:
Discuss the stories of Roald Dahl, and what makes them so memorable
In groups, create pictures from individual stories
Learn how a story is structured
Look at characterisation
Learn a song
Create and perform their own version of one of Roald Dahl’s revolting Rhymes
