Travel back in time with Amelia Earhart who will share her passion for adventure as the first female pilot to fly across the Atlantic ocean. During the workshop the children will be introduced to a number of explorers which may include, Christopher Columbus, Joseph Banks, Bessie Coleman, Nellie Bly and Neil Armstrong to name a few.

During this workshop, the children will:

  • Explore what makes an explorer, who they are and why they explore

  • Create a time line of famous explorers discovering more about their lives

  • Through improvisation, role play and movement, act out a poem.

  • Take part in a short, quick fire quiz

What people are saying about this workshop:

“Excellent experience and the children were very engaged. Children enjoyed the drama activities and the movements to help remember what each explorer was famous for (trade, science etc.) Fantastic workshop would recommend and use again.
Thank you!”

“All children engaged with the wide variety of activities, especially drama based. The experience was memorable and created a buzz for learning. They loved the realistic actress. We were so impressed with the drama hut sessions we received. The children and staff alike had a fantastic day.”
