“Such fantastic alternative to a trip – with none of the hassle ! Thank you so much!”
“thank you so much to Drama Hut for an amazing experience. The actor truly had the children in the palm of her hands, they were so engaged and had the best time. They spoke about it for the rest of the day, it really helped to bring their learning to life! The actor was brilliant – so kind, friendly and amazing with the children!”
“There was such a range of activities within the workshops so all children were kept engaged and interested. It was not only informative but also gave the children the opportunity to participate in a range of drama activities to help them understand what it was like for Florence. I am sure that this will lead to some excellent writing over the coming days and weeks.”
“We had a fantastic time during our history day. We all got dressed up both in school and at home and did a range of different activities. The children were able to access the workshops at home and feedback that I have got was very positive. They really enjoyed the interactivity of the workshops and staff have mentioned how relevant and engaging they were (and the superb acting from Florence/Boudicca/Astrid!)”
“The kids so enjoyed the session— it was lovely to have something a bit different, and coming from someone other than their teachers for once! Obviously it’s been a strange year and our enrichment opportunities are limited, but a workshop like this makes such a difference in really consolidating the children’s learning. Your actor was brilliant in engaging the children and obviously went to a lot of effort to put together set, costume and backgrounds and to incorporate our local history!”
“We thought it all worked really well and the technology ran smoothly. The interactiveness with the students to get them to repeat dates, learn the poem and act out meant they were always engaged with Rosa and a student said “I feel like I really know the whole of Rosa Parks life really well, it was like the real Rosa telling us her story”. The team also said that we thought it was great you touched on the current Black Lives Matter movement and also the other people (such as Claudette, Greta etc) as it gave the students a very broad insight into the topic.”
